The Botany Rockshop opened as part of the Botany Downs Town Centre mall on 6th Oct 2001 and is located behind Whitcoulls.
We are a friendly family store with an all round selection of great brands, products, advice and even better service.
Whether you're a beginner or seasoned professional, we're here to help. No problem is too big, or small and if we can’t answer you right away, we’ll go all-out for you.
With a much bigger and brighter store we are able to provide the largest range of musical products in East Auckland to our customers.
On top of that, we have introduced KBB Music products and accessories into our store for all your orchestral, brass & woodwind needs.
The 160sqm store has close access to car parking, as well as a loading zone to conveniently load your purchases in - with the help of our friendly staff.

Olivia Colenso
Branch Manager
Olivia returned to the Rockshop in 2014.
She is a classically trained pianist, also plays guitar, mountain dulcimer and drums.
Being a folkie at heart, Olivia has an extensive knowledge of all things folk, from instruments to accessories and is our Auckland folk specialist.
Her two favourite musical moments were seeing Paul Simon live in concert and meeting her drumming idol Vinnie Paul.
Currently plays: Martin DC Aura and 000-15M acoustics and a Godin Montreal Premiere electric.

Simon Bramley
Assistant Branch Manager
Simon has been in the Rockshop family since 2015.
As a child he received a copy of the Eagles ‘Hell Freezes Over’ and Eric Clapton’s ‘Unplugged’ that was all he needed to spark the obsession with classic rock and blues he has today.
He’s played guitar for as long he can remember and has even built two electric guitars in the last couple of years.
He has also studied at MAINZ which widened his knowledge of music and skills as a musician, as well as attempting to learn other instruments periodically.
Currently Plays: 2011 Gibson SG, Blackstar HT5R powering a 4x8 Cab.
