Branch Manager
Hayden started in the drum department at Wellington Rockshop in 2008 and became Branch Manager in 2012.
Drums are his main passion and he plays in two bands who regularly gig around some of the live venues in town, along with being "on call" for another couple of other bands.
He also enjoyed competing in a couple of different Highland pipe bands in the Manawatu and Taranaki regions back in the 90's and early 2000's, which contributed to his development on the kit over the years.
Hayden enjoys pounding the crap out of, and with, the following instrument's...
Gretsch Purewood Series 6-piece kit in Hickory 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 16x16, 22x18, 14x6.5

Sheamus Yeiter

Assistant Branch Manager
Sheamus has been with the Rockshop since 2012.
With 25+ years experience with guitars, he was virtually brought up through American back-alley guitar shops, seedy pawn stores, and dirty practice spaces under the tutelage of his gear obsessed older brother and, as a result, inherited the bug.
Having an early exposure to all sorts of gear and the local scene, he began writing and playing in bands starting in his teenage years, playing guitar and bass in a variety of bands in the US and New Zealand. Stylistically all over the place, guitar is still the main instrument with bass and synth in the mix.
Current gear: mix of old and new with a beat up 36 year old Les Paul always close at hand, cabinet of pedals, couple amps, Moog Mother 32… always more to come.

Chris Garside

HOD KBB Music Wellington
Chris has been working for Rockshop since early 2012, and is enjoying the extra challenges that running the KBB section is bringing. He plays Saxophone, Guitar and Bass principally, and has a good functional knowledge of most Live sound and Recording gear also.
After finishing up at the New Zealand School of Music in 2011, Chris has plied his trade teaching itinerantly, as well as playing in popular Wellington Irish band In Like Flynn, as well as picking up the bass chair for the Al Jenkins Quartet. Keep your ears peeled for a new funk project coming in the next few months with drummer extraordinaire Matt Collier.
