Warwick is known for the knack of including exotic and exclusive tonewoods into the standard series of the catalog far more than any other brand out there.
Of course, these exotic tonewoods are reserved for the models made in Germany and a handful of carefully selected models made in Korea, or China.
One of the models based almost exclusively on exotic woods is the Star Bass II series SC Tigerwood 4 model.
It comes with a single-cut body with hollow construction and vintage design.
It`s back, sides and top are made of tigerwood.
On the top, there is a standard Star series set of hardware, including a two-piece bridge and a pair of over-sized pickups (SC models have humbuckers).
Maple/ekanga neck is topped with a 21-fret wenge fingerboard.
