-Born 1980 in Augsburg, Germany.
-Studied at the “Bfs für Musik Dinkelsbühl” and
the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” in Hamburg.
-Resident of Hamburg since 2000
-Recorded and performs with his band, Otterpost
-In the more recent years, additional recordings and gigs w/.Jerobeam,
Strom & Wasser, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Ron Spielman, the Zappa Project
of the NDR Orchestra and others.
-Is a teacher at the "Hamburg School of Music and the “Popakademie”
in Mannheim and is head of the “Bandcamp der Bayerischen Musikakademie
Hammelburg”.
-He's been catching attention worldwide with his solodrumming performances
and has performed at the World Drum Festival, the Namm Show in L.A.
, and the DrummerLive-Event at the Wembley Arena, the Meinl Drum Fest
and the Montreal Drum Fest.
-Released in 2005, "Grebfruit" his first solo record , on
which he performs not only as a drummer, but is also singer,bassist,
guitarist, producer and composer. Guest Musicians on the record are:
Peter Wölpl (Billy Cobham), Judidt Holofernes (Wir sind Helden),Ron
Spielman,Dirk Meissner (Jazz for Starships), Thomas Lang and others.
